Presenting Author: Ricardo Gonçalves - Analytical Scientist, R&D Analytical Development
Why do we use small lactose particles to improve Dry Powder Inhaler formulations? Why sieved and milled lactose particles present different properties? This presentation explores the role of surface energetics, measured using inverse gas chromatography, in the behavior of DPI formulations and the implication on their aerodynamic performance.
